How to maximize Coravin capsule gas
Coravin capsules, formally known as Coravin Pure™ Capsules, are available for purchases on Coravin.com in packs of 3, 6, 12, and 24. For efficient gas usage for both Coravin Timeless and Pivot wine by the glass systems, it’s important to make sure your device is assembled correctly and your capsule is installed properly. For Timeless systems like Timeless Three and Timeless Six, make sure your needle is securely fastened. Then, before unscrewing your capsule cup for Timeless or Pivot, press the button or trigger on your Coravin to make sure the system is out of gas. If yes, follow the steps below.
How to replace a Coravin capsule
Once you confirm that your system is out of gas, here’s how to replace the capsule:

Unscrew the capsule cup, remove the old capsule, and place a new capsule into the capsule cup.

Quickly screw the capsule cup back on.

Make sure it’s closed tightly. You’ll know because you’ll hear the capsule puncture and you’ll be able to see if the capsule cup is lined up with the ridges on the top of the device.

Press and release the button or trigger to ensure gas is flowing.
How long do Coravin capsules last?
Each Coravin argon capsule will allow you to pour up to 15 five-ounce (150ml) glasses of wine with Timeless systems or 20 five-ounce glasses with Pivot. To make sure you are getting the most out of every pour, follow the tips for Timeless systems outlined below:

Check to make sure the needle is tightly attached.

Quickly press and release the trigger 3-5 times to start the flow of wine.

If the flow of wine slows, quickly press and release the trigger again. Reminder: It takes 25-30 seconds to pour a 5-ounce glass with Timeless.

When you are down to 1 glass left in the bottle, pull the cork to save gas.

Trade secret: If you are pouring multiple glasses, press and hold the trigger halfway down, the wine and the argon will stop, move over the other glass, release the trigger to continue pouring.

How to recycle Coravin capsules
